During the Presidential Election last year I really noticed how much more campaigning and advertising Barack Obama was able to than John McCain.  This was due to financial backing.  He realized that small donations add up quickly and he was right.  His campaign was to raise $10 from all of his supporters rather than go after ‘big money’.  He was extremely successful and I’m going to take a trick out of his book…

A BIG thank you to Giovanni from PinkandGrey.ca who donated his time to help me on my quest for gold.  He is a phenominal individual who really knows his fashion (something I, until meeting up with Giovanni, knew nothing about)!  As you will see in the full size version of the picture above Giovanni really stepped up my game and he can step up yours too!

I know that I see myself as the last person to get invoved in Fashion, but I had to step up my image to give me extra credibility when meeting with potential sponsors.  For those of you who don’t know, I’m a self funded athlete.  My budget is over 60K/year for my world class training program.  A dozen sponsors will make my dream become a reality.  Who do you know who wants to help me financially achieve my dream?  Who do you know who can get me an opportunity to meet a reporter to get my story out!?  Fashion is one way that I have stepped up my sponsorship drive this spring thanks to Giovanni at PinkandGrey.ca
